From 11 to 14 September 2025, Sydney Contemporary - Australasia's premier contemporary art fair - takes over Carriageworks with its most ambitious program to date.

Visitors can explore daring installations, performance works, and a curated series of conversations with leading figures in the arts, design and architecture, curated by Michael Do, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Sydney Opera House, and Stephen Todd, Design Editor at the Australian Financial Review.
Performance works by Dr Christian Thompson AO and Kalisolaite ‘Uhila bring a striking mix of sound, stillness and endurance to the program, exploring timely themes of identity and place.

Younger visitors (and those young at heart) can delight in Kid Contemporary - an interactive space by artist Glenn Barkley that invites play, colour, and self-expression.
The inaugural launch of Photo Sydney, a dedicated platform for contemporary photography, furthers the breadth of the 2025 program: celebrating emerging and established names, expanding the ways we engage with the practice today.

Reflecting the cultural connection that art inspires, Sydney Contemporary’s decade-plus tenure is underpinned by the dedicated artists, gallerists and curators who bring the fair to life every year. As an avid supporter of Sydney’s arts scene for over two decades, BresicWhitney is proud to return as an ambassador of Sydney Contemporary, in 2025.
Whether you’re collecting, exploring, or taking it all in - we look forward to seeing you at Sydney Contemporary, this September.
